The revolutionary contribution of printed circuit boards in the electronics industry is known to all. In fact, electronics and electrical industry could never be as efficient as it is now without the intervention of printed circuit boards. PCBs are now used with diverse electronic gadget including domestic appliances, battery operated devices, cell phones, music players, computers, automobiles, aircrafts, and industrial digital equipment. This blog would enlighten the readers about one of the most important steps to reap the maximum benefits out of a PCB- to select an efficient custom printed circuit board manufacturer.

Custom printed circuit board manufacturers are making the best usage out of all the available variety of materials and finishes that include FR4, FR4 High Temperature, Polyimide, GeTek, Rogers, Arlon, Nelco, Alumina, Ceramic, Bakelite, FR1, CEM1, and CEM5. Customers can ask for PCBs that would fit their application requirements and specific environmental conditions wherein they would be used. Based on that, the thickness of the PCBs (decided by the number of layers) varies. When we say custom PCB, it simply means that manufacturers ought to fabricate, design, and manufacture a PCB base on the customer’s requisites and application demands. Accordingly, the thickness, number of layers, materials, features, and other specifications would be incorporated.
When it comes to choosing a reliable and reputable custom printed circuit board manufacturer, the first thing to consider is his depth of expertise and length of experience. The following tips can help you out in the selection:

Thank You for your tips, everybody ! pcbshopper.com turned out to be a useful website, so thanks to whoever mentioned that. There are also a number of other things to consider than just cheap price, when picking a PCB manufacturer, like how much customs and taxes you need to pay and how much you are forced to pay "extra" for express delivery with DHL or similar, because there is no cheap option for delivery. (I'm not in a hurry to have the board).
A lot of people have suggested Chinese PCB manufacturers, but sorry, I just can't get it how they can make 10 PCB's on a fraction of the cost of 1 PCB from somewhere else and assumingly without a noticeable drop in quality / reliability.I guess I'll give Eurocircuits a try, since they are located relatively close to me. They aren't the cheapest PCB manufacturer in the world but certainly not the most expensive either. (And I don't need to waste natural resources for 9 PCB's worth.)
