Vertiv Successfully Acquires Centrifugal Chiller Technology to Expand Global Solutions and Strengthen Support for High-Performance Computing and AI

Vertiv has completed the acquisition of Bixin Energy Technology’s core assets, enhancing its centrifugal chiller capabilities and supporting global infrastructure solutions for high-performance computing and AI.

Bixin Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., specializing in water-cooling and air-cooling technologies, offers cooling solutions up to 5.5 MW and is committed to waste heat recovery.

As a global leader in critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) has announced the completion of its acquisition of the core assets and technology of Bixin Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bixin"). Bixin specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of chillers, heat pumps, waste heat recovery, and air treatment equipment. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Vertiv's centrifugal chiller product line, enhancing its competitiveness in critical infrastructure solutions, and providing robust support for the global development of high-performance computing and AI applications.

Founded in 2010, Bixin has established a strong market presence in China and Asia. With this acquisition, Vertiv not only gains access to Bixin’s market foundation but also absorbs its extensive industry patents, cutting-edge technology solutions, and strong R&D capabilities, further consolidating Vertiv’s product strength in global markets.

Bixin's core products include oil-free, magnetic-suspension centrifugal water and air-cooled chillers using pump-assisted refrigerant energy-saving technology, with cooling capacities of up to 5.5 MW. As a leader in centrifugal technology in Asia, Bixin's products are renowned for their high efficiency, low maintenance costs, quiet operation, and high reliability.

As a recognized high-tech enterprise in China, Bixin is equipped with testing facilities certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) in the United States and is a member of the China Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (CRAA). Bixin's products hold dual authoritative certifications from AHRI and CRAA. The expertise in engineering R&D, performance testing, and technology applications accumulated by Bixin in the centrifugal chiller field significantly strengthens Vertiv’s global chiller product capabilities.
